Gabriel was known as a redeemer shinigami, meaning she could give the person holding the death note a second chance at something (in this case for Kevin, life) at the cost of someone else’s life.
Redeemer shinigami notebooks do not have covers, so Kevin designed one for Gabriel, dubbing it the Life Note.
When a redeemer shinigami dies, any one brought back to life by the redeemer will die as well.
NEXT WEEK WILL BE THE FINAL CARNIVORES COMIC FOR 2009 AND THE LAST COMIC OF THE ARC. To celebrate this event, a milestone will be made. It will be a double comic, a first in the history of the comic series. Instead of 6 panels, there will be 12. In the next comic we will introduce you to another shinigami who just earned the rank of Beastmaster. Yes, next week you will meet a Beastmaster shinigami.
